About Jen Morais Photography

For Jen Morais, photography preserves moments that might otherwise be forgotten. Inside a client's home or at their favorite park, Jen's on-location portraits capture expectant moms, kids, families, and couples at ease, in moments of happiness and reflection that could easily be lost to time. Her wedding photography is closer to a documentary shoot than a simple portrait session. She covers every step of the day, from the nerves of getting dressed and ready to the joy and high-flying emotions of the ceremony to the spontaneous synchronized kabuki displays of the reception. Regardless of the subject matter, one to two weeks after Jen's shoots (four to six after weddings), she produces digital proofs that give clients the opportunity to choose which images to keep as prints, gallery-wrapped canvases, albums, or custom iPhone cases.
