A1A Beach Rentals is a thriving local gem that provides all kinds of beach, bike and watersports rentals, sales and services. The business owner, David always wanted to help visitors experience the outdoor activities that "we get to do every day." The shop, located right on A1A is filled with surfboards, bikes, scooters, SUPs, kayaks and more. They deliver rental equipment free of charge, dropping off gear at the beach or nearby park, launching kayaks at watery trails, and delivering bikes to area forests and riding trails.
The shop offers kayak, boat, or stand-up paddleboarding rentals near Cocoa Beach, where manatees and dolphins can be seen roaming in their natural habitat. Kayaking opportunities are available in not only the beach, but also Indian River Lagoon, the Thousand Islands Chain, and the No Motor Flats Fishing Zone. The staff at A1A Beach Rentals showcase their commitment to the waters by serving on the Save Our Lagoon Citizen Oversight Committee, where they put up to $40 million a year toward lagoon health and restoration.
