Ageless & Beautiful uses the LightSheer® diode laser by Lumenis — a long-pulsed 810nm system with an actively-cooled handpiece engineered to disable hundreds of hair follicles in seconds while keeping the surrounding skin cool.

• How laser hair removal works. Pulses of focused light target the pigment in hair follicles below the skin’s surface, weakening them so hair grows back finer over time.
• Why the cooled handpiece matters. LightSheer’s “cool tip” contact-cools the skin as each pulse fires — most patients describe the sensation as a mild snap, with no anesthesia required for most areas.
• Right fit confirmed at consultation. Your provider reviews your skin tone and hair type before your first session and selects the appropriate settings. LightSheer works best on lighter-to-medium skin tones.

Before:

Clean-shave the treatment area 24 hours before your session. Avoid waxing, plucking, and electrolysis for 4 weeks prior. Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanners for 2 weeks before your appointment.

After:

Apply a soothing gel or aloe as needed. Use broad-spectrum SPF 30+ on treated areas for at least one week. Skip heavy exercise, hot showers, saunas, and steam rooms for 24–48 hours.

Six sessions is the standard recommended course for most areas — not a starter or intro pack. Sessions are spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart to match your hair’s growth cycles; occasional touch-ups may be helpful later as part of ongoing maintenance.

Lasers only work on hair that’s in its active growth phase. Hair grows in cycles, so multiple sessions are needed to catch each follicle when it’s active.

The LightSheer® is a diode laser that works best on lighter-to-medium skin tones; very tan or deeply pigmented skin may not be a good fit. Your provider reviews your skin and hair type at the consultation before your first session and selects the appropriate settings for your profile.

Most people describe the sensation as a light rubber-band snap. Discomfort is usually minimal and varies by individual and treatment area.
