About Argos Optical
In Greek mythology, Argos was a hero and a giant who was said to possess nearly 100 ever-watchful eyes. Though they couldn't possibly help clients see that well, optical surgeons Dr. Elena Mier Trotter, MD and Dr. Selvin Gnannakkan, O.D. want to try. As the resident physicians at Argos Vision Center, they use modern technology to help diagnose or treat ocular diseases ranging from the common to the complex. In addition to preventative care, they also perform routine exams to check visual acuity. These exams may lead to custom fittings for soft or rigid contact lenses as well as glasses lenses. In the case of the latter, patients may be turned over to optician Alex Finkelshteyn, who may fit them for frames by brands such as Gucci, Ray-Ban, and Persol.
