About AS Ballet

Sônia Melo and Alfonso Bausilio of AS Ballet believe the dancers should be able to speak more than one language of dance. To that end, their classes combine the qualities from schools of ballet in the US and Switzerland. By bringing together American creativity and Swiss precision, this international school creates graceful, expressive dancers across its three campuses in both countries. Its dancers start young, learning basic techniques and discovering how to move their bodies like cats. As they progress through the art form, they learn how to dance en pointe and eventually can perform their dancing at competitions across the US and Europe or at the school's theatre in Bern.AQ
