Asphalt Green is a nonprofit dedicated to creating positive change in communities through the power of sports and fitness. Asphalt Green has helped thousands of children stay active through free programs in schoolyards, gymnasiums, and pools across New York City.
Asphalt Green has two first-class campuses: a beautiful 5½-acre Upper East Side campus and a 52,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility in Battery Park City. Members enjoy full access to fitness centers equipped with Precor equipment, including treadmills and ellipticals with built-in TV screens, squat racks and lifting platforms, and lap swim pools fit for all levels of swimmers. On the Upper East Side, swimmers glide through the 50-meter Olympic-sized pool, once home to Olympic medalist Lia Neal. Members enjoy a spacious duplex fitness center with roof deck, private Pilates studio, and a full-sized outdoor soccer field. Battery Park City offers a sunlit fitness center, 25-yard lap pool, and a wood floor gymnasium with open gym time and basketball programs for kids and adults.
