About Be Active Wellness & Massage Therapy

Have you ever felt like all of a sudden you wake up with pain in the neck or back? Perhaps even going to sleep is uncomfortable. We live in a technology based world where we are on our phones, on the computer, or basically in one position for hours upon hours. Due to chronic holding patterns, the spine can be compressed over time and put pressure on nerves and overtax the muscles. The solution then is to release trigger points in muscles that cause pain and then take steps to change those chronic holding patterns. That way you can get back to work or daily activities with less pain and be stronger for longer!

Deep Tissue massage, Trigger point therapy, and Myofascial release are my areas of expertise. Working the muscles is important but causing excruciating pain is not the goal. Good communication between practitioner and client is vital so that your needs are well understood and taken care of efficiently.

Be Active Wellness & Massage Therapy is located within the Maryland Chiropractic Office.
