About This Deal
- Discovery flight: First, 30 minutes of ground instruction introduces students to basic flying techniques, including how to properly preflight the aircraft. Afterwards, students and instructors take off in a N110CT aircraft for 30 minutes of flight over the coastal landscape. During the lesson, students may have the chance to perform takeoff and do the majority of the flying, receiving help from the instructor for the landing. Once instructor and student have safely alighted, the student gets to take home a personal logbook and sectional map. Logbooks record the experience, which counts toward a pilot’s license should students choose to pursue one. Students can bring along a backseat passenger for an additional fee.
- Photo flight: With the help of a professional commercial pilot, pairs take to the sky for an hour of flying time, taking plenty of pictures as the modern aircraft flies over the city of Baltimore
- Age restrictions: must be 10 or older

About Brett Aviation
Since 1978, Brett Aviation's FAA-certified flight instructors have imparted wisdom to fledgling aviators through programs ranging from discovery flights to full pilot certifications. Their trusty aircraft run skyward laps from its nest at Martin State Airport, allowing students to get a feel for flight controls and build the confidence that comes from hours spent aloft. Planes also take off on photo flights, giving passengers aerial glimpses of such destinations as downtown Baltimore, Annapolis, and Ocean City at 120 miles per hour, just fast enough to outrun the tall ships that frequently drag-race down Chesapeake Bay.
