The family loved the ride,The commentary was very informative and history laden. The scenery was beautiful and the snacks were quite reasonable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Staff is great !
We did the standard train it was perfect.
Serve drinks and snacks with out all the dinner train expense.
Everyone should do it once.
We are local to the area and ride bikes at the canal all time and decided to try it once.
Happy we did.

We enjoyed our ride on the train. We bought the boxed lunch and turned it into lunch date. The ride was scenic and informative. We did have to wait a while for the train bridge on the return ride due to commercial traffic on the canal.

About Cape Cod Central Railroad
One of the most romantic hallmarks of America's history—riding the rails past a pristine landscape—is very much alive on the Cape Cod Central Railroad. Towed by one of a fleet of engines that including two FL9 original New Haven locomotives, the train rumbles past views of the region's woodlands, sand dunes, and cranberry and salt bogs. Throughout the course of the gently rocking ride, entertaining on-board narrators provide insight into the history and ecology of a region that allowed glacial bedrock to form into railroads over millions of years. Along with the casual two-hour sightseeing trips, the railroad offers several vintage dining trips, including a candlelit evening foray that features a gourmet five-course meal set to romantic background music.
