About CKO Kickboxing
CKO Kickboxing is a fun way to exercise and get fit. There are no endless treadmill, elliptical, or stair climber workouts here, which can quickly lead to boredom and little results. Instead, clients at CKO are coached through a 60-minute total body workout by a certified instructor using real heavy bags. They start by learning basic kicks and punches that engage the entire body. After that, clients are encouraged to go at their own pace, and as they progress, trainers help push them past their comfort zones for a great stress-relieving workout.
CKO Kickboxing's Joseph Andreula opened up his first gym in Hoboken, New Jersey, back in 1997. In that humble location, the fitness guru helped his clients shed their spare pounds and ratchet up their self-esteem with intense kickboxing workouts. Once word got out that Joseph's program of punching and kicking weighted bags got you ripped, the gym caught on.
