During oil changes, which come with a free car wash, brake check, and tire-pressure check, technicians replace old oil and filters. They also perform general inspections to examine belts, hoses, fluids, and the air conditioner's resident penguin. When cars need better traction, they replace existing tires with new ones from such brands as Michelin, Firestone, and Bridgestone.
Over at Popular's car-wash division, crews perform rustproofing and interior and exterior details, shampooing carpets to remove drink spills and dressing tires. Popular has 120-foot-long automatic car washes loaded with some of the latest equipment, too, plus free self-serve vacuums and walk-in availability.
