What began as a passion project to support children with unique needs has grown into a comprehensive enrichment program offering animal-assisted and equine-adapted activities tailored to children of all abilities. Located in Southwest Ranches, Florida, Distinctively Abled provides therapeutic play, developmental coaching, and sensory experiences with Therabunnies, silkie chickens horses to promote motor skill development, help encourage appropriate emotional regulation, increase functional communication and provides an experience that stimulates the senses. Every service is thoughtfully designed to support children while celebrating their strengths in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Fine Print

Promotional value expires 180 days after purchase. Amount paid never expires. Voucher is considered redeemed at the time of booking. Please check availability with the merchant to ensure the preferred date and time can be accommodated. Sessions are scheduled based on availability Tuesday through Friday, weather permitting. Closed Mondays and Sundays. Helmet and long pants required for riding. Closed-toe shoes or boots required. If a child has sustained an injury or received medical treatment due to a car accident, fall, illness, or any other condition that may impact their ability to engage with animals, a doctor's note is required. The note must include any rest orders and official clearance to resume participation before the next session. If your child is sick, please reschedule with at least 24 hours' notice. No-shows or late arrivals (more than 15 minutes past scheduled time) will result in forfeiture of the session and will not be refunded. Limit 1 per family. New clients only. No repurchases allowed. All visitors entering the property must sign a waiver, even if they are not participating in a session. Video recording is not permitted at any time without permission. Photos may only be taken of your horse or, with permission, your own lesson. Please do not engage with privately owned horses. Lesson days and times are only reserved once payment is received. Program dates must be reserved by the 1st of each calendar month for the entire month. Lessons are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. Please arrive on time.
