The Scuba Diver certification opens the door to the underwater world for those who thought a scuba course might take too long or be too difficult. When you earn the Scuba Diver certification, you receive a lifetime certification allowing you to dive to a maximum depth of 40 feet (12 meters) under the supervision of a certified guide.

This certification is ideal for those who:

• Plan to dive occasionally, such as during vacations.
• Have limited time and can only commit to one weekend.

Before your Saturday pool training, you'll need to complete some online homework (eLearning materials included). Then, we'll take what you've learned in the pool and apply your new skills in the ocean at Catalina Island or Anacapa Island.

What to Bring: Food, water, sunscreen, a towel, and a windbreaker jacket for both days.

Total Commitment: One full weekend (Saturday and Sunday), plus 4-5 hours of online homework before the weekend. Plan to visit the dive center before the course for gear sizing.

When: Courses start every Saturday, all year round.

Steps to Get Certified:
