The masseuse we worked with were fantastic, they were both very nice my partner felt very relaxed. I think it's definitely worth noting that if you want a deeper pressure, they'd charge you $20. From pressure level 1 from 5, 1 being light, 3 medium and 5 strong deep pressure, they consider 4 and 5 to be "deep tissue" and not a part of Swedish massage; from having gone to tons of spas/my sister being a massage therapist, Swedish massage definitely is lighter than shiatsu/deep tissue/sport massage but you can still have a stronger swedish massage.
I chose 3, and it was a very light, feather touch. I did ask her to do a bit stronger, but perhaps she is directed not to do it past a certain strength? It was back so just a light glide on the skin in very short time. And sure, I could have paid extra, but i was hesitant not because I don't think the staff should get paid more for exerting more effort, but I was hesitant since I feel these things should be listed before purchase.
Also, the "beverage" provided is a glass of water.
The facility is clean, comfortable, and nice. The staff is great. They really did nothing wrong. I think it's more the problem with the listing and its description.
If you like a light, just glazing on the skin kind of oil massage, then I don't think this should be a deterrent!
