This was our second time and we are so pleased with the experiences. The instruction is clear and creating is wonderful. Looking forward to another round with family this summer . Great keepsakes for fun times shared. Thanks FOCI for making it possible to play and create.

Knowledgeable, helpful instructor. Plenty of time in class to complete your project. Lots of glass choices allow you to make an interesting and fun piece. Definitely worth it.

This class, the studio, the instructor… were all awesome! Great demonstrations and extra help given to my 10 year old was greatly appreciated. We both had beautiful final products and will definitely be back again!!! Highly recommend!!!

About This Deal

Create a unique 5x5 in. square glass dish by cutting, shaping, and layering a variety of colored sheet glass pieces. An instructor will explain the safety, equipment, tools, and how to cut & decorate sheet glass.*

Proof of vaccination or negative test required at door.

1.5 hr long class.

Sundays 10am-5pm. 4-week notice needed for other dates.

Class sizes of 6 people. Minimum age of 9 years old.

About Minnesota Center for Glass Art Gallery

Foci Minnesota Center for Glass Arts (MCGA) is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the education and exhibition of glass arts. Their building hosts a glass studio, education center, and dedicated exhibition space. Member-supported and staffed by member-artists, Foci offers advanced glass classes, where their expert instructors teach students a wide range of styles and techniques. They provide hands-on glass experiences for individuals, couples, and groups as well as narrated demonstrations of hot glass art. Artists use their facilities to create unique works that are displayed and sold in their gallery. The gallery and studio are free to visit and open to the public seven days a week. Foci MCGA provides opportunities for advanced learning through their glass education curriculum, where the expert instructors teach students a wide range of styles and techniques. Through these efforts, they seek to engage the local community and establish their studio in Minneapolis as a premier destination for the appreciation of glass arts.
