About Fourth Power Fitness
Though their individual specialties differ, Fourth Power Fitness’s staff members—a certified personal trainer, a CrossFit coach, and a former competitive boxer—compile a gym system whose goals are universal. Instructors prioritize exercises that are relevant to the body's real-life movements into a regimen that can be tackled by guests of all ages and abilities. Members can conduct solo workouts during open-gym hours or attend a variety of classes. First Fit, for example, caters to beginners with its cardio- and strength-themed circuits that are meant to tone muscles, promote weight loss, and ensure every pickle jar in each student’s home can be opened. Alternatively, Sports Performance Training strives to boost athletes' speed and power on the field. The routines in these programs abide by the four qualities—or "powers"—referenced in the gym's name: ground-based, complex, explosive, and functional.
Students also participate in calisthenics and machine-based workouts, taking advantage of the facility’s amenities, which range from racks of medicine balls to the indoor track. In addition to classes, trainer Kenneth Hall also offers nutritional guidance in the form of custom meal plans.
