Paddle beneath the Sierra Del Carmen mountains, stopping for lunch and a dip at Langford Hotsprings. Continue through Hot Springs Canyon, surrounded by limestone walls, as you explore the quiet Chihuahua desert. You may spot wildlife and get a glimpse of southwest Texas' Wild West history along the way. This easygoing canoe and kayak tour is great for families, groups, and paddlers of all ages and abilities!

Good To Know
- Season for this tour: October – March
- Participants: Well suited for families and first-timers and we welcome paddlers of all ages and abilities, with a minimum age of 6 years old. You should be in normal good health and prepared for the moderate exertion of paddling and possible swimming.
- Craft: Canoes and hardshell sit-on-top kayaks will be the standard for this low-flow day trip. Higher flows will be done in rafts.
- Difficulty: Easy to Moderately Challenging
- Meeting points:
- 8:00 am at Big Bend Stables and 9:30 am at Rio Grande Village Visitor’s Center.
- The two meeting places are to accommodate people staying in the park and people staying outside the park.
- Park entry is not included in the ticket price.
