Times Square, Manhattan: Flashy Neon Lights and World-Class Culture

Times Square is at the intersection of Broadway and Seventh Avenue in Midtown Manhattan. The famous address—affectionately known as “the Crossroads of the World”—is home to hypnotizing billboards, giant wraparound news tickers, and the neon lights of Broadway. Beyond the glitz and gimmicks, there are a number of cultural offerings in the area, ranging from museums to Michelin-rated restaurants. Buildings of historical and architectural interest include the Paramount Building and One Times Square, site of the annual New Year’s Eve ball drop.

Nearby, the Museum of Modern Art houses a trove of masterpieces including Vincent van Gogh’s The Starry Night, Claude Monet’s Water Lilies paintings, and Andy Warhol’s Campbell’s Soup Cans. Save time for a stroll through the museum’s outdoor sculpture garden, where installations are clustered around sparkling reflecting pools. About a mile north of Times Square, the David H. Koch Theater is home to one of the world’s foremost dance companies—the New York City Ballet, which stages contemporary works as well as classics like Swan Lake and The Nutcracker.

Lovely people, not a 'matchbox size room; great location, but the place definitely needs some updating. Toilet paper holder was at least 3 feet away from the toilet. wallpaper and walls had seen better days with patches missing.

This was a great find. Close to activities in Times Square. Nice room with two double beds, refrig, and microwave and closet. The staff were very helpful. Everything was clean. It is the quietest hotel in New York City I have ever stayed in and I have been there many times. I look forward to staying there again.

Great experience and very unique and clean hotel in the heart of time square. What mostly stood out and I appreciate was the tremendous and very helpful customer services provided. The front clerk name was Sushant. I want to say thank you for a great experience and your help for Ubers and all amenities. Sushant was very nice gentleman who’s help spoke volumes. Thanks again, well recommended 💪🏼

The staff was nice. Very small but clean room. There were NO Ammenities. Basically, you're provided a room for your stay, so please don't expect anything more. That's why I didn't understand the charge for the $45.72 "Daily Facility" fee. That is a total rip-off because you spend 80% of time out. I would love to give them 4-Stars, but I can't due getting only somewhere to sleep. Everything broken.
