Tour Itinerary at a Glance
On this 6-day tour from Great Value Vacations, you’ll spend most of your time in Rovaniemi, the capital of the Finnish Lapland. Often referred to as a “winter wonderland,” Finland’s northernmost region is known just as much for its quaint, shop-lined towns as it is for its stark and gorgeous wilderness. After a 3-night stay in Rovaniemi, you’ll spend 1 night inside a glass igloo at a real snow village in Sinettä, where sculptors create an ephemeral world of ice and snow.
- Day 1: Board an overnight flight to Finland.
- Day 2: Arrive in Rovaniemi.
- Day 3: Take a reindeer sled ride and partake in other Christmassy activities at Santa Claus Village on the Arctic Circle.
- Day 4: Go on a mini dog-led safari with a musher at a husky farm before visiting the *Ranua Wildlife Park**.
- Day 5: Enjoy a free day in Rovaniemi before spending the night inside a glass igloo, which may grant views of the Northern Lights.
