What's the difference between the two itineraries?
Temples, Tombs & Pyramids (6 days / 5 nights) stays in hotels throughout, with 2 nights aboard the sleeper train. Nile Felucca Explorer (7 days / 6 nights) swaps 2 hotel nights for 2 nights sailing the Nile aboard a traditional felucca sailboat. Both include the same Cairo, Aswan, and Luxor sightseeing with an Egyptologist guide.
Are international flights included?
No — this is a land-only package. International flights are available on request through Encounters Travel; contact [email protected] for options.
Can I buy a voucher under my name and use it for someone else?
Yes — your Groupon voucher is not tied to a specific traveler. Contact Encounters Travel to transfer the booking to the intended traveler’s details.
What is the full cancellation policy?
Your Groupon voucher is fully refundable until you contact Encounters Travel to book. Once booked, cancellations made 42–55 days before departure receive a $150 refund (maximum refund $250); 28–41 days before departure receive a $75 refund; 27 days or fewer before departure receive no refund.
