What is the route, and how many hotel nights are included?

You fly into Berlin and stay 2 nights, travel by train to Prague for 2 nights, then by train to Budapest for 2 nights, and fly home from Budapest. The trip is 8 days with 6 hotel nights; the first night is spent on your overnight flight from the US.

How long are the train journeys, and how much free time will I have?

Berlin to Prague takes about 4–5 hours and Prague to Budapest about 6.5–7 hours; both trains are included. You have one full free day in each city, plus the evening after each train journey. Transfers between airports, train stations, and hotels are not included.
