Christmas Market Copenhagen & Stockholm

Day 1: Depart the U.S. for Copenhagen, Denmark Fly overnight from the United States to Copenhagen, Denmark’s festive capital. Get ready for twinkling lights, cozy winter vibes, and a city that turns into a true Christmas wonderland each December.

Day 2: Arrival in Copenhagen & Christmas Cheer Begins Arrive in Copenhagen and check in to your hotel. Spend the afternoon exploring the magical Nyhavn Harbor, where colorful buildings are draped in fairy lights and mulled wine stalls line the waterfront. Wander through the Kongens Nytorv Christmas Market, one of the city’s most atmospheric, filled with handmade crafts, Danish pastries, and gløgg (hot spiced wine).

Day 3: Tivoli Gardens Christmas Market & City Highlights Wake up to the scent of roasted almonds and gingerbread as you explore Tivoli Gardens, Europe’s oldest amusement park transformed into a festive paradise. Marvel at thousands of lights, Christmas trees, and charming stalls selling gifts and treats. Later, visit Amalienborg Palace for the Changing of the Guard, then stroll along Strøget, one of Europe’s longest pedestrian shopping streets, beautifully decorated for the holidays.

Day 4: Royal Copenhagen & Hidden Gems Start at Rosenborg Castle, home to Denmark’s crown jewels, before visiting the Royal Copenhagen flagship store, where elegant porcelain Christmas tables are a beloved local tradition. Day 5: Scenic Train Ride to Stockholm, Sweden Board a train and travel through frosty countryside landscapes and across the iconic Øresund Bridge into Sweden.
