A valid passport is required for travel to Iceland. Although Iceland is not an EU member, it is part of the Schengen Area — US citizens may visit visa-free for up to 90 days in any 180-day period. Check travel.state.gov for current entry requirements before your trip.

Northern Lights Availability
The Northern Lights Night Tour is only available for travel dates between September and mid-April. The aurora borealis is a natural phenomenon — sightings cannot be guaranteed and depend on solar activity, clear skies, and darkness levels. Guests traveling July–August will receive the Golden Circle Classic Day Tour instead. The Golden Circle tour is available year-round.
City Tax
A city tax of ISK 800 per room, per night applies and is paid directly to the hotel at check-in (approximately ISK 2,400 per room for 3 nights). This fee is not included in the Groupon price.
Currency
Iceland: Icelandic Króna (ISK). Iceland is not in the EU and does not use the Euro. ATMs and currency exchange services are widely available in Reykjavik.

Iceland: Icelandic. English is very widely spoken throughout Iceland, particularly in Reykjavik and all tourist areas.
