What To Expect

Visiting Ground Zero is a deeply emotional experience, offering a chance to reflect on the heroism and spirit of rebirth following the events of September 11th. Your tour begins at St. Paul’s Chapel, a historic church built in 1766, where you'll hear how it miraculously survived the falling debris from the attacks, despite being only a block away from Ground Zero. The chapel became a sanctuary for first responders and volunteers, embodying the resilience of New Yorkers in the aftermath of 9/11.

From there, your guide will lead you to the 9/11 Memorial, where you'll witness the powerful symbolism in the memorial plaza, including the Survivor Tree and Reflecting Absence, the largest artificial waterfalls in North America. Your guide, a New Yorker with a personal connection to the events, will share their own experiences and stories as you visit other key sites such as the Oculus and the firefighter memorial. For those who choose an upgrade, the tour continues with a self-guided visit to the 9/11 Museum, where you’ll explore powerful artifacts and stories. You also have the option to visit the One World Observatory, where you’ll ride the SkyPod elevator for stunning 360-degree views of Manhattan.
