Important Information — The Frank Lloyd Wright Trust is dedicated to engaging, educating, and inspiring the public through the interpretation and preservation of Frank Lloyd Wright's design legacy and original sites for future generations.
Enjoy a guided tour of Wright's Home and explore the Studio where the first uniquely Modern American architecture - the Prairie style - was created.
Frank Lloyd Wright’s Robie House, completed in 1910, stands as a cornerstone of modern architecture and the most celebrated of his Prairie houses. Inspired by the Midwest landscape, its design exemplifies Wright’s vision and is inscribed on the World Heritage List.
The Rookery Building, designed by Daniel Burnham and John Root in 1888, is a Chicago landmark featuring one of Frank Lloyd Wright’s most striking interiors—a luminous central light court. Wright’s 1905 remodel balanced Burnham & Root’s ornate ironwork with his own vision, creating a spectacular environment.
Unity Temple, designed in Frank Lloyd Wright’s Oak Park Studio, marks a pivotal achievement of his Prairie era. Its radical exterior, with the use of reinforced concrete, houses a new spatial concept for worship in an open and light filled sanctuary that has earned inscription on the World Heritage List. "When I finished Unity Temple, I had it. I knew I had the beginning of a great thing, a great truth in architecture." - Frank Lloyd Wright.
