On select nights from September 17 through October 31, 2026, Knott's Scary Farm transforms Knott's Berry Farm into a fully reimagined after-dark Halloween experience. Once the fog rolls in, the park becomes something else entirely: haunted mazes and attractions, immersive scare zones, sinister live shows, seasonal food and drinks, and more than 1,000 horrifying creatures roaming the midways. For more than 50 years, Knott's Scary Farm has built its reputation on immersive scares and inventive presentation, and it's a more mature Halloween outing than the park's family-friendly daytime Knott's Spooky Farm celebration.

Redemption

Chaperone Policy

The safety of our guests and associates has always been our top priority at Knott’s Berry Farm, Knott’s Scary Farm, and Soak City Waterpark. Over the past few years, there have been increasing incidents of unruly and inappropriate behavior across our industry and at other major entertainment venues.

We are committed to keeping Knott’s Berry Farm and Soak City Waterpark a place where families and friends come together to enjoy a one-of-a-kind park full of fun experiences and immersive entertainment. As part of that commitment, a chaperone policy is in effect.

Under this policy, all guests ages 15 years old or younger must be accompanied by a chaperone who is at least 21 years old in order to be admitted to or remain in the park. The policy is in effect Monday–Thursday by 4:00 p.m. and Friday–Sunday by 1:00 p.m. — Knott’s Berry Farm reserves the right to begin enforcing the Chaperone Policy earlier on any given day.

The chaperone must present a valid government-issued photo identification with date of birth at ticket entry. One (1) chaperone may accompany no more than ten (10) guests ages 15 or younger per day. In addition, the chaperone must accompany their party during entry, remain inside the park during their visit, and be available by phone throughout their stay.

Guests 16 years of age or older may be asked to present a valid government-issued photo identification (Driver’s license, State Issued ID Card, Passport) with date of birth at entry to verify their age. If unable to verify proof of age, guests may be denied entry into the park.

Guests ages 15 years old or younger who are found inside the park unaccompanied by a chaperone when the Chaperone Policy is in effect will be subject to ejection. This chaperone requirement applies to all Knott’s Berry Farm, Knott’s Scary Farm, and Soak City Waterpark ticket and season passholders.
