Magical Christmas Ballet bypasses that boredom by packing heavy acrobatics and Broadway-level sets into over 100 North American cities for its 33rd annual tour. Instead of a quiet stage, the crew deploys 10-foot-tall puppets and 9 hand-painted backdrops directly alongside a corps of 40 Vaganova-trained ballerinas. The production actively integrates the community by casting local students through their "Dance with Us" program, putting neighborhood kids on stage right next to professional dancers from leading global opera houses. They also pull in local youth to play live music for the principal ballerina through the Musical Wunderkind program.
