Bret Young

Born and raised in Orange County, California, Brett Young first discovered his love of music as a teenager and began playing guitar while attending Calvary Chapel High School in Costa Mesa.

Blending the emotional depth of modern country with the polish of contemporary pop, Young built his sound on the West Coast before making it big in Nashville, Tennessee. His heartfelt songwriting explores life, love and family with dramatic flair

A former college baseball standout, Young’s pivot to music proved to be a home run. His 2018 album “Ticket to L.A.” went platinum, followed by “The Acoustic Sessions” in 2019 and the more reflective “Weekends Look a Little Different These Days” in 2021. In 2023, he continued to evolve with the release of “Across the Sheets,” showcasing a mature, soulful take on country storytelling.
