A sinister nightfall descends on SeaWorld San Diego with even greater ferocity this year, turning the park into a dark domain where unrelenting frights and shocking surprises lurk around every corner. Rising with more intensity and imagination than ever before, we’re once again claiming our spot as San Diego’s leading immersive Halloween adventure. Howl-O-Scream at SeaWorld San Diego returns select nights from Sept. 11 though Oct. 31.
Evade ALL-NEW angry haunts, ALL-NEW scare zones, and TWISTED vile vignettes. Seek shelter indoors, only to find you've entered a house of horrors. Quench your thirst for fear with fiendishly delicious cocktails, beer, and spirits at SIX themed bars and FIVE speakeasies. Soak in the monstrous electricity of our famed LIVE show, Monster Stomp; then keep the adrenaline pumping as you dance through the darkness and take on a coaster under the night sky. Above all, try to resist the eyes of evil that threaten to follow you everywhere.

This is a high-intensity horror event not recommended for children. Guests under 13 may find some content too scary.
Will the rides and attractions be open during Howl-O-Scream?
Yes, several of SeaWorld’s popular rollercoasters and rides will remain open and include special effects for the event.
What is the baggage policy for Howl-O-Scream San Diego?
Bags measuring larger than 8"x5", including purses and backpacks, are NOT permitted through the Howl-O-Scream entrance. Exceptions to this policy may be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection. Any item required for medical reasons that will be screened is to be carried in a clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bag not to exceed the size of 12"x6"x12".
Does a Howl-O-Scream ticket include daytime admission to SeaWorld San Diego?
No, a Howl-O-Scream ticket does not include daytime admission to SeaWorld San Diego. It is a separately ticketed night-time event.
Are costumes allowed at the event?
No - for the safety of our costumed performers and other visitors to the event, guests in costumes will not be permitted.
