We had a great time. Staff was very friendly and so we're the animals. Side note the hayride is a short hayride through the woods in case anybody was expecting more. No animals to see along the way really.

The variety of animals at this petting zoo was excellent and all of the animals were so well cared for. The staff was friendly and welcoming and so knowledgeable that they helped us have such a wonderful time. I would recommend this activity to everyone. Children and adults will enjoy. We plan on visiting again so I can make sure all my grandchildren can benefit from a visit! Thank you.

We took two grandsons to the petting farm and they loved it. Watched the pigs race, went on a hay ride and fed the animals! Great outdoor activity for little ones.

About Green Meadows Petting Farm

In 1964, Bob and Coni Keyes decided to transform their 80-acre hog farm in Waterford, Wisconsin into something brand new: pick-your-own vegetables and raspberry farm. Inspired by their own 13 children, they decided to gear the experience toward families and kids. It wasn't long before the operation expanded to include interactions with their animals, and the farm became a destination where children could come to experience agriculture and farm life. Eventually the Keyes' children grew up and left the nest, but that they didn't necessarily leave the family business. Instead, many decided to start their own petting farms in their new towns—which is how Green Meadows started in Ijamsville.
