About Honey Art Studio

Honey Art Studio, Gallery & Event Space, opened in our current location 2022. In 2016, the owner Ericka Scott took a one day art lesson that literally changed her life. As a Business Consultant, instructor and Project Manager, Ericka never considered herself 'creative.' However, after attending a one-day art workshop where she painted a multi-colored butterfly, she was transformed just like a caterpillar. She told people she encountered and her enthusiasm was magnetic. She started hosting 'art parties' and the rest is history.

While you experience our interactive art activities you will also be transported into the iconic Fillmore, formally known as the Harlem of the West, where famous Jazz greats like Duke Ellington, Billie Holiday, Nat King Cole and others performed regularly. The decor, the photographs and murals in Honey Art depict the famous jazz clubs of the 1940's & 50's.
