Before:

Clean-shave the treatment area. Avoid prolonged UV exposure, tanning beds, and sunless tanning products for at least 7 days prior. Stop using retinols and AHA/BHA 7 days before. Numbing cream (if used) must be removed completely before treatment. Avoid chemical peels or other laser treatments for 2 weeks prior. Clients who used Accutane in the last 6 months cannot be treated.

After:

Avoid extended UV exposure for 7 days. Apply SPF 30+ daily. Avoid activities that raise body temperature for 48 hours. Soothe skin with cool towels, ice packs, or aloe vera if needed. Avoid other laser or chemical treatments on the area for at least 2 weeks.
