How It Works

RF heats up the deep layers of the skin using advanced radio-wave technology without damaging the epidermis, or top layer of the skin. The heat causes the collagen in your skin to contract and tighten. After the treatment, your skin will start to produce new collagen. The result is an improvement in skin quality, firmness, and tightness.

RF can be used to treat various areas of the face, including:

  • Sagging skin under the chin
  • Nasolabial folds
  • Wrinkles around the mouth
  • Lines or folds between the eyebrows
  • Lines on the forehead
  • Crow's feet
  • Lines or sagging skin under the eyes

What to Expect & Results

Radiofrequency treatments can be performed on all skin types and do not usually cause any damage to the surface of the skin.

Please note: Clients with pacemakers, defibrillators, or any implanted metal device cannot be treated.

Pre- & Post-Treatment Skincare

To ensure the safest and most effective results from radiofrequency (RF) treatments, certain skincare products and medications must be paused before and after your session.

Clients using prescription tretinoin (Retin-A), including 0.05% strength, must discontinue use 5–7 days prior to treatment and 5–7 days after treatment. Tretinoin increases skin sensitivity, and combining it too close to RF heat may increase the risk of irritation, burns, or pigmentation changes.

During this break period, clients should avoid:

  • Retinoids and retinol products
  • Chemical exfoliants (glycolic, salicylic, and lactic acids)
  • Benzoyl peroxide
  • Physical exfoliation or scrubs

Clients are encouraged to focus on gentle cleansing, hydration, barrier-repair moisturizers, and daily use of broad-spectrum SPF.
