  • Where you'll drive: There is a designated area for the training course in a dirt area in the Desert by Nellis Air Force Base. Participants will take a guided tour on paths that are led by an instructor in a single-file line overlooking the Nellis Air Force Base.

  • Age restrictions: Must be 18 or older.

  • It is a 30 minute first time riding training, and then a 30 minute ride time around the grounds.

  • The class consists of a 30 minute orientation where participants learn the basics, such as:

    • Steering and breaking
    • Throttle control
    • Physical Riding (how to shift body weight when maneuvering)
    • How to start and stop the bike
    • Being aware of the surroundings
    • Riding in different weather conditions and on numerous surfaces
    • Safety procedures and basic common sense rules of riding
