Each option includes the same one-hour Cowboy Experience. Choose the option that matches the number of riders in your group.

Each rider receives:

• A welcome and safety orientation

• Introduction to an assigned horse

• Basic horse handling and communication guidance

• Hands-on grooming instruction

• Introduction to saddling, tack and horse care

• Mounting and dismounting assistance

• Light, supervised riding around the approximately 10,000-square-foot ranch yard

• Guidance from a Legacy Acres cowboy or wrangler

• Use of the assigned horse, tack and grooming equipment

• Opportunities to take personal photos and videos

No previous riding experience is required. The experience is designed for beginners and moves at a comfortable pace based on each participant’s ability, confidence and the horse’s needs.

Reservations are required. Guests should arrive at least 15 minutes early for check-in, waivers and safety instructions. Closed-toe shoes are required, and long pants are strongly recommended. Helmets are required for minors and whenever directed by the Ranch.

Participants may be grouped with other guests. Horse assignments and riding activities are subject to rider compatibility, weather, horse health and availability. This is an introductory ranch-yard riding experience, not an extended trail ride.

Professional photography, food, transportation, gratuities and private use of the ranch are not included.
