What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Have you been told your child is too young to learn ? Nonsense! Our method is aimed at teaching children as young as 3 yrs old and up via private & group lessons. We can also accommodate adults. We are the South Hills premiere guitar and violin school!
Do you provide any materials? What should your students expect to bring?
Students will need an appropriate size guitar or violin. If needed, we provide these on a rent-to-own basis. Students must also have the method book & CD. Guitar students will need a footstool. Lyons Guitar & String has these materials in stock!
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
After 20 years of teaching and performing , Brannon Lyons opened Lyons Guitar and String to provide a way for younger students to get started. Lyons Guitar and String is an alternative to regular music store lessons. Our students learn in a fun, nurturing environment!
What do you love most about your job?
Out teachers love to see how the students progress over time. It is exciting for us to provide that spark a student gets when they are learning something for the first time. Our teachers are professional musicians who believe music is something that needs to be shared!
