Excellent massage -- the tech was knowledgeable and empathetic, made suggestions for follow-on care.
But when I walked out in a splendid mood, I was summoned back to the desk by an unsmiling, unfriendly person who insisted on telling me all the No's and Not's of the Groupon purchase. Yes, I understood that the Groupon rate was a one-time special, so there's no reason to lecture me negatively. This wasn't even an enthusiastic sales pitch, just a forceful, scolding, repetitive "Don't expect this experience again!" Completely unfriendly and wholly unexpected.
So much for my post-massage high.
