Plan Your Treatment

Treatment Zones

Neurotoxin units represent a standardized dosing measure used by providers to plan a safe, balanced, and personalized result. The total units needed vary depending on individual muscle strength, desired outcome, and the specific areas being addressed.

  • Units are individualized: Your provider tailors the dose to your unique facial anatomy and desired look, ensuring a subtle and natural enhancement.
  • "Per side" matters: Some areas, like crow's feet or the jawline, are treated on both sides of the face, meaning the total unit count may be split across these areas.
  • Consultation first: Your injector confirms the optimal plan for symmetry, safety, and natural-looking results during your personalized consultation.

Common treatment areas (typical ranges may include):

  • Eyebrow lift: 2–5 units (per side)
  • Forehead lines: 4–16 units
  • "11s" frown lines: 10–30 units
  • Crow's feet: 8–12 units (per side)
  • Nasalis lines: 6–10 units
  • Upper lip (lip flip): 4–8 units
  • Smile lift: 3–6 units
  • Jawline: 10–30 units (per side)

These unit ranges are educational estimates. The exact number of units for your treatment will be determined during your consultation, based on a comprehensive assessment of your facial anatomy and aesthetic goals.

About Your Treatment

This wrinkle-reducing cosmetic injectable is designed to temporarily relax targeted facial muscles. This process helps to soften the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, leading to a smoother, more refreshed complexion while preserving natural facial movement. The effects typically become visible within a few days, with peak results often seen around two weeks, and can last for several months. Individual results may vary, and your provider will discuss specific expectations during your consultation.

Before Your Appointment

To help prepare for your appointment, it's often recommended to avoid alcohol, blood-thinning medications, and certain supplements for 24-48 hours before your treatment. If you're unsure about specific preparations or medications, please consult your provider for personalized guidance. Arriving with a clean face, free of makeup, is also generally advised.
