Mug workshop - Hand building techniques allow us to construct complex objects without much of prior clay experience. You will make a cylinder mug shape using clay slab and a handle, which will be assembled together to construct a mug. You will add your personal touch with clay surface decoration. Your mugs will be dried slowly to prevent crack, glazed and fired by us, and available for pick up 3-4 weeks post workshop date. $8 + HST glazing and firing fee

2 hour pottery wheel try out workshop - If you have seen these short videos of fun pottery making using a pottery wheel and really want to give it a try, this is the right workshop for you. In 2 hours, you will receive demonstration and instruction on how to center clay, open it up, pull up wall, and shape a bowl form. It will be a fun, memorable, and potentially splashing experience to share with your family and friends. It's not expected that you will make a great bowl in your first attempt, but if you insist on keeping and treasuring your craft for many years, there is a $8 + HST glazing and firing fee. Final piece pick up is 3-4 weeks post workshop date.
