- Neighborhood: The landmark building can be found on Fifth Avenue and 103rd Street, at the southern end of East Harlem and just across the street from Central Park’s Conservatory Garden.
- Don't Miss: New York at Its Core, an ongoing exhibit that showcases the city's storied past and possible futures through hundreds of objects and photos and contemporary video, and interactive experiences. The exhibit shines a light on generations of American Dreamers—whether they were tycoons, immigrants, builders, or politicians (or all of the above.)
- Watch for: Timescapes, an award-winning multi-media 28-minute documentary that delves into the city's evolution since its establishment, concluding with a capture of the city's transformations over the first two decades of the 21st century.
- Grab a bite: The Museum's Chalsty's Cafe overlooks Central Park for a perfect view, whether the park is blanketed in snow or covered in autumn colors.
