The DEAL was GREAT! Unfortunately, I only had one speaker on my headset work & it was hurting my ear...waaaaay too Rattley and loud. When I mentioned that to the guy rigging me up, I was told it needed to be that loud because of the engine noise. (the sound quality was like when a band plays so loud you cannot enjoy the music, hear the words or individual instruments...just a lot of undiscernible ear-pounding racquet) Once I rolled onto the track the audio quality was so bad I could not understand a damn thing the spotter was saying. I should have headed back to the pit after the first lap...I thought maybe EVERYONE's was that bad. I spent the whole time trying to discern what was being said, and could not concentrate on the track or driving, I was trying to shove the speaker away from my ear canal. My ear is still numb and ringing...I kick myself for not being more adamant in the beginning. (I COULD understand what was said, albeit painfully during the "raise thumb" test verification) The spotter's voice increased once the ambient noise increased, making it even worse.
It is my own fault for not getting a new headset after the first lap...My experience was a waste of money because of me! I wish I had INSISTED the rigger listen to what I was stuck with...I'm sure he would have tossed the headset and given me a functioning one.
I'd like to try again someday, but my full experience was very expensive and overall very disappointing because I neglected to speak up and insist on a different headset.
Arrrgggh!

Really awesome experience. I purchased for my fiancé’s birthday and he had a blast! He really loved the encouragement from the guy in his headset who made him feel unstoppable. Next time we will be purchasing more laps because he couldn’t get enough. Would recommend!
