Women's Defense Academy

Taught by Paula Meyers, a first-degree black belt certified by the International Krav Maga Federation, Women's Defense Academy imparts the basics of hand-to-hand self-defense through a series of online videos available to complete at your own pace. Derived from basic principles of Krav Maga, a modern self-defense system developed by the Israeli military, the course's tactics focus on applying techniques from judo, boxing, and wrestling to real-world situations—in other words, knowing the right move to defend yourself at any given time against any sort of assailant or short-circuiting cyborg. The course is geared toward empowering women to defend themselves, but the principles can apply to virtually anyone at any age.
