Ober Attractions
  • The Gatlinburg Tram — The flagship arrival experience and a strong lead image. A 2.1-mile aerial journey from downtown to the mountaintop park. Two counterbalanced cars carry up to 120 passengers each, departing about every 20 minutes. The ride climbs roughly 1,472 feet to about 2,813 feet above sea level, reaching up to 300 feet above the ground at its highest point, with sweeping views of Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Running since 1973. Suitable for all ages. Included with the Fun Pass and Adventure Pass, or available as a tram-only ticket.
  • Wildlife Habitat — Free to all guests. Up-close viewing of 44 animals across 26+ species native to the Smokies, in a ZAA-accredited sanctuary that homes injured or non-releasable wildlife. Residents include black bears (Holly, Peanut, BJ, and Chief), playful river otters with hourly otter feedings, bobcats, red foxes, raccoons including an albino raccoon, skunks, bald and golden eagles, snakes, and flying squirrels. Features include underwater otter viewing, birds of prey, an indoor Critter Cave, and outdoor enclosures. Small-group Wildlife Discovery Tours run on select days. Note: bears may be in hibernation and out of view in deep winter (roughly December to February).
  • Smoky Mountain Bobsled — A summer thrill ride down the mountainside with twists, turns, and scenic views, where riders control their own speed. Included with the Adventure Pass.
  • Tennessee Flyer (mountain coaster) — A mountain coaster that gives riders the sensation of carving down the slopes, located near the tubing area. Year-round. Single and double rider options.
  • The Cloud Catcher Zipline — Ziplining with Smoky Mountain views. A signature aerial adventure open year-round.
  • Scenic Chairlift / Sky Village Lift — A relaxed, scenic ride to the summit of Mount Harrison, billed as the longest chairlift in Tennessee, and the highest chairlift vantage point of the Great Smoky Mountains. With sweeping foliage and mountain views, this experience is popular in the fall. Sky Village is a four-seater chairlift that opened in 2025, replacing the previous double-seat chairlift with access to Mt. Harrison's scenic views.
  • Alpine Slide — A classic since the 1970s and still a fan favorite. A downhill sled-style ride served by the chairlift.
  • Summer Tubing and Igloo Snow Zone — Summer tubing sends riders down a slick lane on inner tubes, like snow tubing without the snow, via a Magic Carpet lift. The Igloo Snow Zone is a giant igloo filled with machine-made snow in the middle of summer.
  • Ice Skating and Ice Bumper Cars (year-round, indoor) — An indoor ice arena open year-round. Ice Bumper Cars let guests bump, spin, and slide around the rink in neon tube-shaped cars with video-game-style controls. The rink has hosted skating competitions and Special Olympics events.
  • Downhill Mountain Biking — Lift-served downhill mountain bike trails, one of the newer warm-weather additions under current ownership.
  • Family and kids attractions

    • Carousel (indoor)
    • Chair Swings (family swing ride, riders lifted several feet in the air) - open during the warmer months (Summer, Spring, and Fall) but closed during the winter.
    • Jump Pillow (giant bouncy pillow, sized for smaller kids) - open during the warmer months (Summer, Spring, and Fall) but closed during the winter.
