My name is Ben Russell. I’m a certified personal trainer in my twenties who wants to make you the best you. I know many people struggle with their body image and I’m here to tell you, with the right guidance, achieving your fitness goals is easy. As long as you have the drive and motivation to change, feel better, and look better, accomplishments can be made easily. This is especially true for people who have the right personal trainer.

I started living in Los Angeles as a model and physique has gotten me commercial and print jobs for brands like H&M, Armani, Hewlett Packard Enterprises, & intel. Year round, I stay at 6% body fat and lift more than twice my own weight. Many people ask me what I do to stay in shape and I’m here to tell you how I answer that question.

About Personal Training

Since working at Artistic Athletics, I have helped or continue to help people work through herniated discs, fused discs, back pain, excessive weight, weight lifting insecurities, bad form, and much more. I myself have dealt with herniated discs in my back and neck, torn rotator cuffs, and sprains all while living with a slightly crooked spine from MS. My prior injuries I mentioned happened from bad coaching during my years of Football and wrestling which sometimes kept me from playing sports. At one point, I was even told I may need back surgery at 19 years old. However, I live pain free most of the time thanks to proper technique, form, and corrective exercises without having to sacrifice lifting heavy or training hard. I'm in my mid 20's and have not been told by a doctor or chiropractor since then that I need back surgery. I believe in training people specifically to their goals and working through their injuries, weight, and/or mental hardships. Everyone is different and we all have specific goals in mind when it comes to exercise. I am here to cater to what is exactly that you are looking to accomplish. My personal training is exactly that: personal. Everyone is given their own specific regimens and consultations geared towards what they are looking for. Even at just one session with me, I guarantee you'll walk away learning something new.
