What to Expect

Get your hands on over 150 interactive displays at the Exploratory. Now backed directly by Ripley's Believe It or Not!, the facility operates as half science museum and half physical playground. You can pull the levers to test the physics experiments and handle the strange artifacts yourself. The massive layout packs the building from wall to wall, placing a new physical discovery at every turn along the route. The main exhibit floor is completely open for both adults and kids to test the stations together.

Climb directly inside and explore a real 43-foot core module from the Russian Space Station MIR. You can grab a simple rope and leverage basic physics to test your strength by lifting a 5,000-lb car clear off the ground. Place your hands flat on the Van de Graaff Generator and watch the static electricity physically pull your hair straight up into the air. All of these interactive stations sit completely unrestricted on the main exhibit floor.

Important Information: The 43-foot core module from the legendary Russian Space Station MIR is one of only three ever built and the only one on display worldwide.
