Welcome to the heart and soul of Virginia's winemaking passion—River Dog Winery. Founded in 2017 by Chris and Debbie Ziolkowski, this family-owned gem is a testament to love, nature, and the unwavering spirit of their loyal canine companions.
Nestled in the embrace of nature, this intimate five-acre vineyard was lovingly crafted by hand. The Ziolkowskis poured five years of dedication into their vines, overcoming nature's challenges to yield bountiful harvests of hand-crafted Virginia wines.
With the expert guidance of Floyd W. Oslin, a seasoned winemaker with over 40 years of experience, the winery selects varietals that thrive in Virginia's climate. Floyd's winemaking philosophy is simple: "I make wine that people can enjoy with food."
