About RAW Urban Winery & Hard Cidery
RAW Urban Winery & Hard Cidery was born out of love, literally. In 1994 a boy met a girl. Then, in 1998 they got married and went on a honeymoon to San Francisco and later to Europe, where they indulged in a plethora of wine flavors. Well, what to say more, they fell in love with this palate-tingling beverage. In 1999, they began making their own varieties, and in 2008 finally formed a wine cellar, where they started sourcing fine grapes as well as oak barrels. Throughout all this time they dreamt about own urban winery and one day asked themselves: "What are we waiting for?". They waited no more and began to share their unique wine and cider flavors with the rest of the community also supporting local farmers by using Pennsylvania-grown apples, foraged flowers, herbs, berries, and grapes.
