About NC Museum of Dolls, Toys & Miniatures
Visit the NC Museum of Dolls, Toys & Miniatures to see a variety of collections that are entertaining for both young and old. Established in 2012, we are a nonprofit museum in Spencer, NC that features antique and modern dolls, toys and miniatures. A trip to the 4,000-sq. ft. museum is sure to be a fun experience. In addition to thousands of dolls and their accessories, you can see Tinkertoys, dollhouses and miniatures, cap guns, antique firetrucks, a 5 train Lionel model railroad village, airplanes and more. Exhibits rotate quarterly.
Size: 4,000 square feet
Signature Exhibits: A vast collection of Shirley Temple dolls and Schoenhut circus figures
Eye Catcher: The model village that features a waterfall, snow, and a functional 5 train Lionel train set
Don't Miss: The enormous dollhouse built by Mary March, which stands at 7' long by 3' tall, which the Citizen Times called "exquisite"
Hands-On: The play area allows kids to dress up dolls and take Thomas the Train out for a spin
