It was our first time to try spicy zest. We placed our order in the restaurant. They forgot or lost our order so we waited over 30 minutes for the food. We paid $2 extra to have more shrimp in our entree but when we got home, there were only 3 shrimp total in our meal. This doesn’t sound like “extra” shrimp. We will not return.

About SpicyZest

For Chef Nimidu at SpicyZest, the bold, fragrant flavors of the spice cabinet have the alchemical ability to coax extra complexity and richness out of even the simplest ingredient. That's especially true of his own Sri Lankan cooking, whose infusions of chili and curry commingle to create dishes worth blogging about. At SpicyZest, he combines these Sri Lankan fundamentals with fusion-inspired preparation to create a new cuisine all his own; favorites include the curry chicken burrito laced with spicy jalapenos, potato pancakes bombed with crushed chili, and Sri Lankan-style burgers that introduce all-American beef patties to pan-fried vegetables, zesty pickles, and the house's special sauce.
