Maryland State Requirements

Maryland residents wishing to purchase a handgun must possess a Maryland HQL. This course meets all state HQL requirements.

Due to recent changes in state law, Maryland is now a 'shall issue' state. Anyone who applies and meets the state requirements will be issued a permit to carry a concealed weapon (CCW). Successful completion of this class allows you to apply for your Concealed Carry Permit.
